Dr. Chin-Yin Tseng, President
 Dr. Tseng is the acting president of Chung Chou University of Science and Technology.  In 2008, after he retired from National Chiayi University, he accepted the offer of Chung Chou as the vice president and the Dean of the College of Environment Design.  He led the departments in the college to receive Level A for the evaluation of Ministry of Education, Taiwan in 2008, established the graduate institute of Health Science and Biotechnology and founded a Health Food Develop Center at CCUT in 2010.  In the past few years at CCUT, he has been granted 2 millions us dollars for two CCUT Specialty Development Projects, focusing on Health Food Development and Marketing.  He has more than 100 academic research projects and academia-industry projects sponsored by Minister of Education, other governmental departments in Taiwan and enterprises during the past 20 years. His teaching and research area focuses on Food Processing.  He has participated in many international academic conferences and seminars and have published more than 100 research papers.

      Before taking the positions offered by CCUT, Dr. Tseng served as the Dean of the Center for Research and Development and Director of Food Processing Factory at National Chia-Yi University.  He was actively involved in agricultural product processing and marketing, guiding the factories and companies in Food Industry and transferring the related technology to them.  He has assisted them for developing and marketing many popular agricultural products, such as mushroom products, soya sauce, jam, bee products, plum vinegar and so on.  He was invited by the countries in South Pacific Ocean and Central America to give lectures on food processing and share my research and experience.
