Financial Support

Good news! CCUT has many financial aid options.  Financial support is available in the form of scholarships, grants, Work-Study, and outside resources.

Registered international students may apply to the Center for International Exchange for scholarships. According to the Regulations Governing Scholarship Program for Foreign Students at Chung Chou Institute of Technology.  Each international undergraduate and graduate recipient will receive full scholarship or half scholarship.  Scholarships  are limited to one application per semester. Undergraduates in 4-year programs are limited to a maximum of 8 applications; graduates are limited to a maximum of 6 applications.

International students can also apply for the Taiwan Scholarship offered by the government. For further information, please contact Center for International Exchange at inte105@dragon.ccut.edu.tw.

Scholarships Offered by Taiwan Government

Taiwan Scholarships are jointly funded by the Ministry of Education (MOE), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), the National Science Council of the Executive Yuan (NSC) and the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA).

The number of awards will be decided by the Taiwan Scholarship Management and Promotion Committee, and will be announced by the overseas Taiwan missions in January of each year.

(1) MOE: Undergraduate/Master's/ Ph.D. Scholarship
(2) MOFA: Undergraduate Scholarship
(3) NSC: Master's/ Ph.D. Scholarship
(4) MOEA: Master's/ Ph.D. Scholarships

Types of Scholarships & Benefits

Undergraduate Scholarships: For qualified foreign students will pursue undergraduate studies at universities/colleges in Taiwan. A stipend of NT$25,000 per month per student will be provided.

Master's Scholarships: Scholarships in the amount of NT$30,000 per month will be provided for qualified foreign students who will pursue master's degrees at universities/colleges in Taiwan.

Ph.D. Scholarships: Scholarships in the amount of NT$30,000 per month will be provided for qualified foreign students who will pursue their Ph.D. degrees at universities/colleges in Taiwan.

For recipients from countries maintaining formal diplomatic ties with Taiwan, their monthly stipends will be NT$30,000. In addition, an economy class round-trip airfare ticket will be offered to each recipient from such countries upon approval of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
