The Campus Public Art at CCUT

The Campus Public Art at CCUT

Since Dr. Hwang took office as President of Chung Chou, he has aimed to create a greener campus filled with natural bio-ecology and art to offer our faculty, students and domestic residents a friendly and restful campus park.  CCUT is actively promoting the campus public art projects, and has invited many top artists—in various art areas—to visit CCUT campus to create installation art on campus and to establish an aesthetic atmosphere. The school features “transformation and upgrading”!  The allocation of public artwork on the campus has possibly set the record of mass installation artwork!  The artwork transforms CCUT into an outdoor art gallery.  Many campus landscaping and beautifying projects have been completed, including CCUT Entrance Image, campus landscaping, arched sidewalks, scenic sidewalks, water-landscaped reading area, resting area and campus public art.  The CCUT Entrance Image project constructed at the entrance of the school, functions as a landmark and direction device. The new entrance also helps to embed the surrounding road system near Chung Chou. This project allows CCUT campus to standout elegantly from the road.  The CCUT Entrance Image represents CCUT and welcomes visitors.
