The 15th TDK Cup Robot Contest was held successfully by Chung Chou University of Science and Technology from October 21st to 23rd.

CCUT professors, gold medals winners in the international invention shows

Taiwan swept the 2011 Inventeco International Invention Show in Sicily that ended Sunday, winning 49 gold, 30 silver, and 9 bronze medals. Among the 17 countries that participated, Taiwan was the biggest winner with 88 medals, said Wu Kuo-chun, chairman of the Chinese Innovation and Invention Society (CIIS) , who led the Taiwanese delegation to the fair in Catania.

34 Chinese undergraduates from Mainland China study at CCUT

The amendments to the Act Governing the Relations between Peoples of the Taiwan Area and the Mainland Area (兩岸人民關係條例) and the University Act (大學法), proposed by the Ministry of Education, allows Chinese graduate and undergraduate students to enroll in local universities.  This year, 34 Chinese undergraduates from Fuchien, Sichuan, and Anhui in Mainland China registered at CCUT for a-year study program.
